About Man Nguyen

Wellness and Nutrition Specialist.

Man Nguyen has been teaching fitness, exercise and nutritional programming for over a decade. As a former gymnast, collegiate soccer player, and black belt in Karate, his passion for sports and fitness led him to study and master the principles of nutrition, behavior modification, exercise and psychology. Man holds a certification in General Fitness and Nutritional Counseling as well as an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Education. With his athletic experience and education, Man has led many to achieve the highest level of moral support and positive reinforcement to achieve successful fitness and wellness results.

Man is the creator of MannyMade, a 60-day high performance fitness and nutritional program where he applies his own expertise to analyze nutritional needs, and develop personalized meal and workout plans for each individual. He works closely with a Registered and Licensed Dietician to design nutrition solutions in accordance with the American Dietetic Association guidelines. The program offers the most effective way to burn fat and build muscle simultaneously with High Intensity Interval and weight training principles combined with short-term carbohydrate overfeed.

I know what you’re going through. From my freshmen 15 (more like 50) to five years after graduating college I gained more than 85 pounds. I tried every possible “diet” including: keto, fasting, low calorie, Atkins, and acupuncture to only lose 10 or 20 pounds and then to gain it all back plus more. I developed a low self-esteem and felt that I was doomed to be in this unhealthy weight forever. I finally learned that exercise and sound nutrition was the only path to lasting weight loss. I began doing HIIT cardio and eating whole nutrition dense food instead of starving and counting calories. As I began to restore my gut’s health, I began to feel better about myself and my process to wellness. In total, I lost more than 50 pounds gained 40 pounds of muscle while maintaining an optimal body fat of 10%. As your wellness and fitness counselor, my goal is to empower you to lose weight while gaining muscle and become as healthy and as fit as you desire.
